US skaters are doing well after the short programs today. Scott Smith is in 1st followed by Keven Vanderperrin with Nick Laroche in 3rd.
Julia Sebestian is 1st followed by Allysa Czissney & Amber Corwin.
:scowl: Don't know why USFSA hasn't bothered posting scores. Especially since these are USFSA international assingments.
 Best of ice to Nick in the long. Damon

Scott Smith won it easily. Allysa Czissney and Amber Corwin came in second and third and Czissney won the Free Skate beating Sebastian. Could they be contenders at this years Nationals? The ice thickens!!!!!!!!

Alissa Czisney did two level 4 spins and one level three! She did OK on her jumps, but must still work on consistency. If she could rattle those jumps off like clockwork every time out, she would definitely be in the mix. (Who wouldn't, LOL.) She did 3Lz (with -2 GOE -- probably intended a combination but missed the first landing), 3F, 3Lo, 2A+2T, then seemed to run out of steam with 2T, 2A and 2Lz.

Her PC scores were in the high 5's and low 6's. These will come up automatically with better technical execution.

This is a very beutiful skater (also a nice person). I would like nothing better than to see her make a run at the podium at U.S. Nationals.
