Chiper must have been near perfect. I wouldn't expect to see him in this top grouping.

Buttle has two incredible choreographed programs. If he skates clean he's the winner. quad not necessary.

Joubert's scores look promising.

Tim and Mike are just fine because they are still in the running for the podium. I'm not so sure Chiper can do two in a row. But one never know. do one?

Like your outlook

Like your outlook, Joe. Instead of saying "ahhhhh" like I did previously, you're hoping for a medal for either Tim or Mike. Guess your cup is also half full!

I just hope that ESPN shows Chiper's SP. Not holding my breath, though.

I'm hoping right along with you there! Or at least somebody shows it so at minumum we can see it over the Net.

Wasn't it last year in Paris that Mikey jumped from 5th in the short to win the gold? Or was it the year before?

Joe ... Jeff may not need the quad here, but I think he will for the Olympics.

And I agree ... Timmy still has a decent chance for a podium spot with a good LP.

His programs both SP and LP are way ahead of everyone going into the Olympics. It was that LP in Canada which brought him through to the podium. Had he skated it clearn, I think he would have beaten Sandhu. He needs a clean LP more than a quad, although with a quad, I'm thinking gold. Buttle doesn't stop and pose (and take a breath). He is in continuous motion.

Timmy also has a good routine from TT and if he skates it clean, he'll be in the running. He wont make the Final because of Skate America, but it will boost his ego and I think he could use that.

Michael who has everything and I hope they credit him with the quad points and take off -1 for the probablde two foot landing if he does it. But Michael's programs are never really that good. How can anyone tell him to try TT for a program or better still David Wilson.

If I remember correctly, Chiper has his moments but he will get sloppy in the LP. I don't wish it on him. The poor guy's been around a long time.

It's another cliff hanger here for the entire podium.
