Unfortunately they are not showing either ordinals or places in the arena. I figured out most obvious ones, but with mixed ordinals I cannot do the math. Hopefully, they would publish results on-line in the nearest future.

01
Oksana Domnina/Maxim Shabalin (Odintsovo)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: black lace with red and silver
Excellent character, nice edges, confident and smooth.
TM: 5.5-5.6
PR: 5.6-5.7
Current place: 1
Overall place: 1

02
Maria Manko/Alexander Borstov (Kirov)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: white and red
Weak, obviously struggling to keep the holds in some places
TM: 3.8-4.1
PR: 4.0-4.3
Current place: 2
Overall place: 2

03
Jana Khokhlova/Sergey Novitsky (Moscow)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: black and white, last year OD
Solid, good character, perhaps a bit too angsty for "romantica", but good. Nice accents on some steps
TM: 5.2-5.4
PR: 5.4-5.5
Current place: 2
Overall place: 2

04
Ekaterina Rubleva/Ivan Schefer (Moscow)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: black and red
Solid and soft. Perhaps too soft, nit enough accents.
TM: 4.8-5.1
PR: 5.0-5.2
Current place: 3
Overall place: 3

05
Anastasia Yakovleva/Ivan Manvelov (Moscow)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume:
Poor, obviously struggling with both steps and holds
TM: 3.7-4.0
PR: 3.9-4.4
Current place: 5
Overall place: 5

06
Olga Orlova/Vitaly Novikov (Moscow)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: black lace
Expression would have been more appropriate for flamenco. Good enough, but it is obvious that they are new team. No glaring mistakes, but they simply do not "blend" the way more expirienced teams do. Judge #2 gave them 5.5/5.6 (nearly the same as 5.6/5.6 for Domnina/Shabalin), which was ridiculous. Fortunately the rest had them below Khokhlova/Novitsky.
TM: 5.1-5.5
PR: 5.3-5.6
Current place: 3
Overall place: 3

07
Tatiana Navka/Roman Kostomarov (Moscow)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: black and cyan
Clearly the best, Navka really sold the dance and Roman was Ok. Very sharp and precise.
TM: 5.7-5.8
PR: 5.8-5.9
Current place: 1
Overall place: 1

08
Elena Romanovskaya/Alexander Grachev (Moscow)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: black and red
Very serious and dramatic. I thought they had minor stumble in the corner, but Iam not sure. Still I would have them ahead of Orlova/Novikov.
TM: 5.0-5.2
PR: 5.2-5.3
Current place: 5
Overall place: 5

09
Mariana Iliina/Anton Bogachev (Moscow)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: orange and black
Clearly the worst, troubles with both steps and holds
TM: 3.5-3.8
PR: 3.8-3.9
Current place: 9
Overall place: 9

10
Olga Gmyzina/Ivan Lobanov (Kirov)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume:
smooth, no obvious mistakes, but nothing remarkable either
TM: 4.6-4.7
PR: 4.8-5.0
Current place:
Overall place:

11
Inna Ladyagina/Anton Shabalin (Toliatti)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume:
They made great progress in recent years. Couple of years ago they would have been dead last, now they are technically sooid, even if bland
TM: 4.2-4.6
PR: 4.5-4.8
Current place:
Overall place:

12
Yulia Zlobina/Alexey Sitnikov (Kirov)
Music: Tango Romantica
Costume: red and black
Technically it was rather shaky, but she had nice expression
TM: 4.3-4.8
PR: 4.5-5.0
Current place:
Overall place:

Every team from Kirov now have "double citizenship", they are announced as representing Kirov and Rostov-on-Don. I suppose it means there is some ice time agreement between two cities.... Tarasova was interviewed by NTV+ after the event and said that everyone outside Top5 is so poor that she does not even talk about it, I cannot say I agree with her, I think Top8 is rather tolerable.

Top5 is
Navka/Kostomarov
Domnina/Shabalin
Khokhlova/Novitsky
Orlova/Novikov
Romanovskaya/Grachev

Anna,

Thanks so much for the reports, we certainly appreciate them! I didn't know Russian Nats still use the 6.0 system!

Cheers, Yana

Thank you for your review and the results....someone on FSU said it isn't even going to be broadcast this year?? Or maybe not live...not sure. I really want to see it! :)

I didn't know this either...and was confused at first reading the results. So, anyone that complains US skaters have it harder than other countries because they didn't adopt CoP in time better think again. ;)
