Thanks, Toni, that's a fun article. What's more amazing, it's actually accurate!

At least Scott Hamilton is finally admitting that hideous jumpsuit of his wasn't all that. What an awful outfit.

You know, honestly, I can't think of anything over-the-top hideous right now. (Project Runway's attempts to design for Sasha aside.) Oh, wait, I take that back. Both Tanith's OD and FD costumes should be taken out and burned. (That OD dress makes HER hips look fat, and she's tiny!) Also, all matador jackets must go, but that'll only happen when skaters stop doing "1001 Variations on Carmen." And someone needs to put Navka in a headband-and-giant-flower-headpiece twelve-step program.

Fun article...

Thanks Toni for sharing this. LOL, after sitting through the ENTIRE Yankee Polka CD at Nationals, I think I'm now sufficiently numb where I will never notice a bad costume again.

Hilarious. But wasn't Nancy's white dress with sheer sleeves from 92, not 94?

The white fabric on white illusion dress was '92- '94 I think she wore white over black illusion in the SP.

I actually liked her '93 dress- black halter over balck illusion with some pattern on the front (probably an all wrong description- but the general idea) and I don't usually notice dresses unless something is falling out.

Aside from Tiffany's Polka Porn costume... I rather enjoyed the costumes

we were all sitting there singing "it's a small world after all" though  they so look like the little dutch kids in that ride at DisneyLand!

Costumes

I got soooo tired of the blue drapey thing (Donna Karan?) Todd wore for how long??? Definitely more than one season, and I don't think it was used for only one number. I realize money was likely an issue.....but so glad he's past that period.

No -- Nancy wore that dress at the 1994 Olympics. If this is the white dress with the sheer black sleeves. Not my favorite dress, in any case.

No, I believe the dress they were talking about was the white with the sheer WHITE, that she did indeed wear in the 1992 Olympics, not the 1994 Olympics. I belive you're confusing it with the dress she wore for her short program in 1994 which was white with BLACK sheer sleeves. Her 1994 long program dress was a champagne colored dress.
