Does RSA mean Republic of South Africa? Is Africa one of the "Four Continents," with North and South America counting as one (as in the Olympic rings)?

Yes, Yes, and No. South America is not considered one of the "Four Continents" here since no South American country at this point has a figure skating team to send to them. Once Chile or Argentina or somewhere down there gets the lead out [;) ], then I would assume it would then become the "Five Continents", tho I have also heard this competition referred to as the Continentals.

Bebe Lang goes into first place!

It would be nice if BeBe and Katy could hang on for first and second. The Japanese girl does have a better free - skate record. Although, her jumps are ugly.

To put Bebe's 61.04 in perspective, here are the SP totals from last years' Worlds: Slutskaya 62.84, Cohen 61.37, Kwan 61.22, Kostner 60.82.
