Security at Torino

This evening's "NBC News" ran a story on Torino & its preparations for this Friday's opening of the Olympic Games. One of the segments mentioned that a security force of 10,000, including police dogs, is in place to guard the events, the athletes, and the spectators.

We can all hope and pray that the Olympics are conducted in an atmosphere of peace and good will - or as close as we can come to that ideal in the crazy world we live in.

Thanks for posting this. I don't have much time to pay attention to the news because I'm so busy these days, but security at the Games was something on my mind a lot lately.

I'm afraid the threat of terrorism must be on everyone's minds these days. I certainly hope that people with evil in their hearts and minds stay home!!
