Holy crap- same as nationals. He dickered with the program during the skate and gave away a ton of points on components. He was actually #2 on tech.

Oh, that loop will haunt Jeff. I think he had a shot if he'd done the 3 loop. The quad was a great attempt. He'll get a fair bit of credit for it. When the camera close din on him he made a gun motion at his head and said, "the loop".

Should not have gone for the quad!

And the doubled jump was bad.

But overall, much better performance from him! Faster, clean axels and lutzes, great combinations, greatc choreography.

Please be enough for 3rd...

Yeah, he did. I watched it live on CBC. It was all the way around but he fell.

Dissapointed in Lambiel`s skate but his PCS were still much too low.

My heart is breaking for Johnny. What was his he thinking? Improv never works.

If this event was in France Joubert could count on a ridiculous 80+ on PCS to get him a medal but probably not here.
