I don't believe it. They're skating to Vivaldi's Four Seasons now?

Petrova/Tikhonov... very very well-skated. They executed their side-by-side jumps with no trouble (for once), and were great on throws and lifts. Even their combination spin was faster than usual. They have increased their speed since the beginning of the season.

But I don't get it... why did they switch their LP music to Vivaldi? The problem for me is that they basically had all the same choreography as well as the same costumes as their last LP. It just didn't fit the new music.

All their PCS in the 7's... very impressive. But I can't say I agree with choreography or interpretation.

Marcoux and Buntin would need the skate of their life to get ahead of Americans and Russians.

My connection froze for about half a minute.

But I saw that he struggled with their 3-2 combination (although it was completed) and she nearly fell on their 2A's later. Not sure they'll get the TES they need.

I saw 2 mistakes with M/B 's side by side jumps.

Shen/Zhao are watching in the stands and supporting their teammates.

Triple throw insdtead.

Not bad for both Canadian couples.

Z/Z messed up their second s-b-s jump! She doubled and he fell. But nice unison on spins this time.

They beat P/T by .2 points... my god! This is drama. The Russians really outskated them tonight, but the lead after the SP was enough for the Chinese.

Pang/Tong have their opportunity to become World champions right here. I hope she rotates fully!

Oh Lord.....that's incredible...lol....good upset win.

I'm so happy for them I might cry. I just wish they skated it as cleanly as they did at the Olympics. Perhaps they gave Pang/Tong the Gold to make up for being robbed of an Olympic silver or bronze! Because the scoring seems so odd, for them to have higher TES than a perfect Petrova/Tikhonov. ????

I'm sure Zhang/Zhang are disappointed, but they'll most likely win next year.

Best free skates of the night were definitely P/T's and I/B's. Congrats to them.
