Skating Shows and Advertising

The only thing I did not enjoy at the recent Stars on Ice Tour was all the advertising we are now subjected to during a skating show. I know it costs a lot of money to mount these shows, but it is getting ridiculous!!! In between Scott Hamilton's' bit we had to constantly be reminded of "Europe's Best" one of the advertisers and of course, HSBC - in fact there were two rows of these people sitting in front of me.

I wish they could keep the advertising a little more subtle. That's my only gripe about skating shows!!!!!

how were they reminding you? actually over the speakers or just signs/paint on the ice?

It was VERY annoying lol. Toni it was over the speakers and on the tv screens in the corners of the rink.

wow... that would be annoying... but with the state of skating's finances being what they are I can't say that i can't blame them...
