Evan is raising money for the United States Figure Skating Association's Memorial Fund by auctioning an autographed skate, which he wore during one of the most memorable performances of his career.
"Its the skate I wore when I won my first World Championship medal," Evan said. His performances in the skate were among the most celebrated at the 2005 World Figure Skating Championships in Moscow, Russia.
After winning the bronze medal at the championships, Evan was nominated for 2005 SportsMan of the Year award, sponsored by the U.S. Olympic Committee.
