It's Raining - Oh No!!

The lovely sunshine that bathed the West Coast has finally disappeared and is now replaced by our familair "liquid sunshine." I just looked out the window and saw the rain has finally returned. I know our forests and gardens and lawns need some rain, but it was wonderful to have all those sunny days. Now I will have to break out the rain gear. It's also getting colder. Time to put away the summer clothes and drag out the fall clothes.

This has been an unusual summer for us. We are used to wet soggy weather by August - usually just in time for our PNE. We also have rain on and off through June into July. So it was a real treat to have so much sun for a change. I hear we may have a mild winter - okay by me.
