There is absolutely nothing in this program except for the elements and he doesn’t even try to sell it. It could have as well been a practice session for the way he skated it. Amazing jump content for someone of his age (too young to be on JGP), but really nothing special considering how much Mishin “promoted” him to the media. I think Plushenko at similar age at least had attack and “presence” of the ice…

Another program with nothing between elements and no presentation to speak of. Gatchinsky at least has an excuse of being very young, what it is his?

What what his music? Sounded like “Star Wars” to me, but I am not sure… Finally we had some in-betweens and presentation… yeah… in Lezin… shows you how bad the two previous skates were… But they set quite a standart for the following skaters to live up to… So far it’s unexpectedly well skated event… I am sure it won’t last, though.

51.96/55.20=-1=106.16 to 157.35… lost to Gatchinsky… don’t think it’s fair.

I’ve lost the count of how many years he is using this costume. It was “Gladiator” originally and then he just moved through various “warrior” sountrack themes. I guess he even kept the starting and the ending poses… Well, except for the fall on 3A my non-relative did quite well for himself. Kudos.

65.62/54.14=-1=115.76 to 172.59 guess he got good levels on spins. Kudos again.

And we are still flying… more or less… The middle part was “Frida” not sure about the beginning and the end… By far the best choreography and presentation of the entire group. Really well done.

47.98/59.40=-106.38 to 164.35… shouldn’t have lost LP to Gatchinsky…

“Pirates of Carribean” I suppose, but with my memory it might as well be “Man in the Iron Mask”. I can remember the music, but not the name of it… Well, all good things end somewhere, but it was better overall than the element listing suggest. Good speed, attack, power and lines… Decent spins… I didn’t know he is Gromova’s student, but she is with him in K’n’C.

30.86/56.08=-1=85.94 to 142.14… lots of whistles and booes from the audience.

I think I missed writing down one jump… Very inspired, with good lines, flow and attack. Last year he was a debunant, with good basics, but now he certainly “belongs”. If he learn how to a 3A he would to well in Juniors…

He is back! Excellent performance, I think it’s more clean triples than all his GP performances put together. Well done!

I wonder if missed writing down some jumps or if he really did that few… If the system was applied properly he would have gotten PCS a least some 5 points ahead of the rest of the field, because he is right up there with Buttle and Weir in terms of interpreting the music the whole body movements…

Quite a lot of transitions in the first half, especially for Mishin’s student. Well done. He doesn’t have Gryazev’s presence of the ice, but he had a 7 points lead from SP and a quad… should be enough I guess…

65.66/74.28=139.94 to 217.14… well, I was wrong… I think on the overall level it’s right, but for this particular competition taken as whole… I am not sure…

I'm sad for Klimkin. He coulda been a contendah. The ice is cold and hard.
