I found it all incredibly half-assed. "Someone dies." A secondary character whose storyline had run its course. Meredith's heart had stopped for hours. No way there would be no serious brain damage.
Except that Meredith was hypothermic. When that happens, you keep working on the person, as the cold will protect the brain.
I liked it. I thought it was a great way to end the three episode arc and also a good way to close off the Ellis storylines. It really had run it's course and this was a good way for them to end it.
No new episode this coming week, which I think is a good thing. Gives those of us that went through the wringer two weeks to recharge our batteries.
