Looks like I'm finally starting to get the hang of the scratch spin!
After months and months of futile struggling, I got a favorable comment from a long time figure skater and excellent and very creative spinner yesterday: "Hey, that wasn't half bad!"
Coming from him, that's pretty high praise, he kinda likes to make fun of people.....
Managed to impress some of the girls with my hydroblading attempts, most of the adults just stand there in stunned silence.
Now if I can just quit looking at my feet when doing the Salchow.....
