Good for Ashley! It's a nice website but a little odd, the way it blares out "Senior Lady" right at the get-go. I think the skating community forgets what that phrase means to the average American! Time to change our terminology, maybe?

:agree::laugh: There are ladies all over the world wondering, "what kind of face cream keeps her looking so young."

It is strange designation, brought up on the forum a while ago - must just be tradition. Many of my friends don't understand the different classifications either. They were under the impression the "Olys Class" were the pro. Pardon them for getting the whole principal of the Olympics, but likely confusing due to the number of professional athletes participating in the Olys these days. But Amateur classification left most with a questioning face.

"Well they are Senior Amateur skaters." ...response, "Senior, that makes them sound like old fogies."

Well go figure....;)
