Mirai was a huge hit in Japan...Some of the clips showed a lot of coverage of her.. Some people think over at another skating board, that the Japanese federation may be interested in having Mirai skate for Japan...

Good grief, like Japan doesn't have enough great ladies?

C'mon, Mirai, stay here! We loved you first! (And your chance of making it to worlds is higher too.)

I named Meissner because this is likely to be another IMG event.
Mirai Nagasu is their next target.
She's invited to Olympus ice show of late July.
Any news of that late July ice show?
I just noticed the 'Japan On Ice' thread. I presume that's the same as Olympus.

No, they are two different shows. FSU has a fan review, translated article summaries and youtube links about "The Ice"/Olympus show on July 29-30 in which Mirai Nagasu participated, alongside Shen/Zhao, Lambiel, Buttle, Takahashi, Ando, Mao and Mai Asada and Ina/Zimmerman, etc.: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=51315&page=2

ETA: sorcerer has started a new thread about Mirai Nagasu in Japan: http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17201

Thanks Sylvia - Mirai looks so improved in that youtube clip. She's becoming a young lady and ditching the little girl look.

Now Oda is officially not available.
Takahashi, Kozuka and Nanri are likely candidates for Japan.
