I Hate Job Hunting

One of my biggest pet peeves in life - Job Hunting! I hate the whole exercise. My present job will soon be ending in Sept. and once again I will be faced with the dilema of what to do. I have been with the college for almost five years as an auxiliary and after all this time, have never landed a permanent position. I will of course be on the "on-call" list once more. It's either a feast or a famine. I have been thinking of applying with other colleges. I just don't know! I fed up with the whole thing. I wish I could retire.

I thought you had applied for your dream job. Did it not pan out? Hang in there -- I'm right there with you wishing for an extremely early retirement!

I did, but at best it will probably only be part-time, plus there is no guarantee I will be a candidate.

I hate having to think about finding work again. Things at the College are slow.

You know what they say - the only thing worse than having a job is looking for one!
