Ice Dance Preview- the CD Starlight Waltz

The CD at Courcheval is the Starlight Waltz.

This thread is a reference for how the Starlight Waltz skated, what it is, and has videos of past exemplary performances of the Starlight.

Also, the Starlight was skated at the recent Lake Placid competition. Unfortunately, there are no videos available at this time, but there are some stills of both the US teams and both the Canadian teams that will be at Courcheval.

Maia and Alex Shibutani skated in the Open Starlight Waltz. They finished a close second to the Hubbells, the US reigning Junior champions. Their score was 31.08.

Kharis Ralph and Asher Hill (CAN) skated well in the Initial Junior Starlight Waltz. Their score was 30.24.

Maja Vermuelen and Andrew Doleman (CAN) skated the Starlight. Their score was 26.87 in the initial Starlight Waltz competition
