Never thought I'd see the day where I could have the opportunity to
more at Lysacek's costume than Johnny's. But that day has arrived indeed.And
at your comment on Reynolds. It's too true! And other than that, I think he looks a bit out of place in this group. But that's just me.- Joined

Sorry I didn't take detailed PBP but I can tell he ran out of steam at about the 2:00 minute mark but yet somehow did most of his jumps, had awesome choreography and despite skating the second half of the program with no speed had the audience really behind him.
This should be great at Euros and Worlds!

3 axel - good
spin
circ footwork - some attempt at character
3 loop - good
upright spin - nice variations
3 axel step out 2 toe
3 flip 3 toe 2 toe with arm abov head - nice
3 lutz 3 toe - nice!

sl footwork - better
combo spin - good!

I just saw Shultheiss lost to Uspenski??? Shultheiss should have gotten better choreography and interpretation marks compared yo Uspenski. Boo.

Kevin really, really needs a new costume.
Odd observation, but Kevin's voice sounds exactly like Jeff Buttle's lol.
And wow, his 4s was awesome (and his first 3A was pretty good too!). I wish he would work on his posture a bit - just that one improvement could affect his whole skating package so much!

Reynolds is much improved, that was a lot cleaner than he's been in the past.
BUT...I hate the costume. It needs to go, now. It's shallow yes, but I hate looking at it.
2- His face was so blank at times that he almost looked sleepy. He really needs to work on expression.
Nevertheless, he will finish in at least 4th.

The Warm up music for the 2nd group was 'Thriller' Who makes these decisions?
Quad Goebel style, now THAT is what I miss from the sport, good clean quads with streangth and precision.
Evan's costume is terrible it looks like he has black sequin wings that are just hanging from his costume.

I love Oda, but I actually like Kozuka's programs much better than what I saw of Oda's so far.
