Maybe Grigoriev was a naughty boy this year; this would explain why Santa isn't being nice to him.

Kawaguchi/Smirnov were okay, he stumbled on the 3 Toe and touched down - but I guess it's not more than -1 GOE, perhaps -2. The twist was a bit strange as always. But the sbs spins were very well in synch, despite the fact that she nearly fell on it. I just love the lift, it was very well done today. His extension is just superb, I could watch him all day.
EDIT: They got a bit above 65 and are solidly in second place.

Tuktamysheva won the LP (110.06/159,88) with the performance of the evening - 3T+3T, 2A+2A+SEQ, two triple lutzes. She is so mature for her age. Please save these girls from the puberty monster! They are fantastic. Sotnikova has fantastic spins and artistry and Tuktamysheva's jumps are so big and her basics are

How old is Tuktamysheva? I remember I watched red square show clips maybe one or two years ago, and there was a little girl performing. My friend told me the girl was about 12 years old and already had five triples. She's the future of Russian ladies skater. I forget the girl's name but it's very similar to Tuktamysheva in my memory.

Tuktamysheva turned 12 last week. I don't think she does the flip, though. She did 3Lz+2T+2Lo, 3Lz, 3T+3T, 2A+2A sequence, 3S, 3Lo and 2A in the LP. Maybe she has the wrong edge and is trying to fix it?
