I think Meryl has a magical other worldly quality about her. Thought their skate was musical and confident. Nice marks to get sent off to Worlds with :agree:
All this emphasis on leg lines with the Ann Arbor teams, but I go for the presentation of character and connection too... and with regard to that, I think Emily/Evan have a lot of charm. Kiefer seemed nervous - can't blame him... who wouldn't be (?!?!) at their first senior nationals.
Kim and Brent ... love her toe point and wonderful feet/edges.
Morgan and Leif... kind of disappointed actually, with some posture issues I thought, especially at the start. That said, I'm guessing I shouldn't peg 'waltz' as their 'thing' so will keep my hopes up for their OD and Free.
Trina was lovely. Especially with compulsories, probably didn't help them to have to skate first.
