 who woulda thought (at the beginning)

Honestly I was thinking based on Japan Open and practices that Mao would maybe not make it. But I thought her disasterous finish would be at TEB where the field was a lot stronger. Instead the disasterous finish was here. Well Mao's fifth now (so that may help but she will really need some implosions... sigh)

Medal ceremony? Anyone? TVU isn't showing it... I hope it goes on youtube. I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!! Finally; a medal for Ashley; an not a bronze thank god. In humble opinion it should have been gold; but well; I'll live.

Very happy for the podium, especially Ashley and Alena. Alissa did well too, just a solid triple away from medaling.

Congrats to the ladies. Way to go Ashley. Alissa's jumps must have been downgraded. She only had one fall and that is an improvement. But the underotated jumps concern me more.

Good job, girls.
Congratulations to Miki, Ashley and Alena.

I think Miki can pose a legitimate challenge to Yuna,
considering that Miki's SP was changed at the last minute (I believe like 3~4 days ago).

How unfortunate Mao won't be in GPF barring a complete miracle, especially since it will be taking place in her country/

What is happening to Mao? she was a top level skater 2 years ago but year by year she is getting worse now she seems like an ordinary casual lady skater. Tarasova and Mao.... maybe their styles does not fit......
