Denis Ten. GO Denis!!! He does look very short.
3A step out,3Lz put free leg on ice behind him. I think it was supposed to be combo jump but no, 3F almost hand down -2t. Beillman spin.
Tries to show the character on Sing sing sing!good steps siquence in the end.
Does not look happy at all. His jumps are not on today.
64.05. Into 4th place.

Nice strong music to Carmina Burana. Loved his first jump, but couple wonky landings on the rest of them. Not bad, not bad at all. :)

Charlotte Elizabeth, I see you're from England; where are you watching this? I can't seem to find a feed!

3a good, to the music
3lz-wonky hand down-2t
3t? ok, bit forward

crowd seemed to like him slightly better than most so far, light applause during program for footwork into one spin.
something about this kid's style I like. he's the the slightest bit rough yet, but has a good sense of dramatic tension in his skating. like his arm use.

65.24 - he seems ok with that

What feed are you all watching? CCTV5 is showing me some NBA highlight show, which is boring even in English.

Can't deny Oda is the best one out there thus far, but as much as I like all his elements, I don't like the program nor the music or the costume, et al.

I absolutely loooooooooove his FS, but not his SP.

Good job, Oda, good job! :)

Try TVU: 80212 Figure skating Yu Na Kim Broadcast. Works really well for me.

Love the fan who helps to stream all the competitions!

Nobunari Oda, JPN

3a looked easy like 2a
3lz-3t nice
3f nice and easy again like a 2f

crowd most appreciative for him by far (it's a small crowd though)
dynamic program, and he reaches to fill out the rink, but he can do lots better in terms of refinement, one feels. and footword a bit laboured almost behind music 9o rso it seemed on my feed). Jumps were excellent though. spins decent.

It's Korean channel called Figure skating, code 80212 on TVU.

Nobunari Oda.
OMG, impressive! Something of new class to what I have see before in this competition. I think it's a real thread to Pluchy. 3a, 3Lz-3t, 3Lz. Brilliant. good speed, wonderful footwork! What is going with people over there!? Why almost no applause?? Morozov in his style behind the boards. He says it was too much control. Nobunari says that short program is always harder than FP.
83.35. Into 1st!

Ditto what I said about Oda's program, I say the exact same thing about this young Russian's as well.

See below (cut & pasted):

Sergei Voronov, RUS

3f-3t good
3a strong
3lz? good also

combo spin interesting positions, light applause
again applause for circ footwork into flying sitspin ( i note these light spatterings of applause during programs, cuz the crown is pretty silent most of the time here)

he nailed that program! I liked it better than Oda's actually. though Oda's jumps were really PERFECT and Voronov's merely very good. Very crisp and fluid skating, only thing lacking is that star quality to really relax and project out to audience

81.4 - he is thrilled
