The OD Results are in.

WOW!!! D&S slightly ahead of B&A, with G&G significantly in 3d. As I understand it, the overall placements for now are:

B&A 40.02+61.27=101.29
D&S 37.15+61.67=98.82
G&G 40.53+56.57=97.1

Seems that G&G really lost on technical elements -- they seem to be ahead on others. I wonder if they made some huge mistake... Can't wait to read reports!

About the Grushgons, according to reports on FSU, Elena's toepick stuck in the ice resulting in a stumble.

So happy for Tanith and Ben!!! My heavens, is it possible for the US to have up to three gold medals, including ice dance?!?!?!

That would make sense. I love B&A, but I don't think they are quite up to G&G's level yet (with the emphasize on 'yet').

It wasn't just a stumble. She nearly went down. So in that way, the OD results made sense. dpp
