Who's that and what is her expertise? Also is she always there or only parttime? if parttime, how often?

Her name is Shanetta Folle. I don't know if she's always in Japan, but it seems to me that way. She used to coach Annette Dytrt from Germany, and their time together was not so great, I would argue. Which might not only be her fault, but also Dytrt's who is notoriously inconsistent. My impression of Folle was not very positive, though, and as far as I know she is no specialist in anything. Which is OK as an assistant coach to TAT, I guess, but not as the de-facto full-time coach of Mao Asada IMO.

Thanks. I wish Mao has a jump coach and the one who helps preparation and conditioning more holistically. Great coaches always do that if they are around. I wonder if Mao stays in Japan after Nationals or go to Russia. I have an impression that Shiz spent more time with TAT.

While I've been a great fan of TAT, I would question greatly her value as a coach right now. She is very deeply involved with the Skating-with-the-stars type show in Russia, and it seems to me that coaching is really on the back burner for her. She can still be good at doing less time intensive things such as choreography or consulting, but I wouldn't count on her as a full time coach who is with her students days in and days out.
