"I didn't start to do figure skating because of figure skating, I started to do it because of my friend from kindergarten who was a beautiful girl," he told Reuters in an interview before the championships starting on Tuesday.

I thought this article was kinda cute. Guess we wouldn't have Tomas if it wasn't for that girl. Wonder who she is.

I don't think that would affect him that much considering he's been happily dating a Czech singer (forgot her name sorry) for many years now.. :biggrin:

I keep wishing his love for the ice would also translate into consistency.. Apparently he had very bad practices today, again!

Yep, he mentioned that he misses her at the rink very much.. I wonder if that move is going to help Caro revive her competitive carreer at all..
