Johnny Be Robbed?

Without Johnny, the Gala will be a snoozefest. Most of the "exhibition" programs by these skaters just aren't that exciting. Maybe he could replace Plushenko, since he's being such a crybaby and disrespecting his medal.

I agree - fourth would have been fair. But I know he feels the inner victory of having skated so beautifully.

Wow, I am impressed and excited that there is a petition! I was thinking about who to contact to request that he get to perform in the Gala. I'll sign it. I don't have a lot of hope that it would do anything, but I like the gesture, and I read an article today that Johnny knows about it and appreciates the support.

As for his placement in the competition, I definitely agree that he should have been higher - definitely in the top five, perhaps fourth. No lower than fifth.

ETA: Oh, I see it's closed now. I still support it.
