Mao's 3A isn't very big, doesn't cover much ice and doesn't have great flowout. That's why she doesn't get +GOE on it.

I agree, she like leans back into the jump and does it under herself. If you watch the men do 3a, they cover a lot of ice. Yuna's 3-3 covers a lot of ice like the men do with their 3-3s.

Rewatching it carefully... from Mao's take-off on the 3A to the landing of the 2T and flow out, you can calculate by the backboards that it's approximately 20 - 25 feet of total ice coverage. From Yu-Na's video explaining the mechanics of her 3Lz+3T combination, Brian Orser says her combination covers 25 feet of ice coverage. So they are relatively the same in that aspect.
