Cynthia finishes 5th! Wow! I'm so happy for her! I hope this gives her the confidence she needs for future seasons.

Why don't you sit next to the tech and look at the angle that they're looking at. I wish I could do that too lol
As for GOE I suggest you go and look at the GOE guideline posted on ISU website.
Yuna was really underscored at many events (especially 2008 worlds omg) and as an olympic champion I think she deserves a little break.

They quickly forgot how and who won 2008 gold.

W/o doubt, this was Mao's best in this season. IMO, I just think that they picked on something they haven't this season in 4cc, national and olympic.

Congratulations on Mao!

I'm not getting Laura's scores. I do like watching her but can someone please explain why she scored so high despite landing only 3 triples? I don't get it.

Laura placed only 6th in the LP. It was her SP that saved her (and the SP that doomed Miki, etc).

And Cynthia misses bronze by 1.08, imagne if she didn't put her hand down on the 3lutz in the short. Still, top 5for her, just amazing!! Well done and deserved!!

Ksenia is holding her own. Mistake on 3Sal. She's very enjoyable to watch!

I agree. Her skating is growing on me. She looks even more confident than she did at the Olympics to me. I look forward to seeing her improve and challenge. I agree with Johnny Weir, she is a rock star!

8th for Makarova !!! Men... just shoot me now.

Lepisto took the bromze with 3 triples, and Yu-Na silver with 65 PCS (though I adore Yu-Na). Really????

On the bright side, congratulations Mao Asada, 2nd time world champion!!

I'm so happy Mao finally won a world champion after so many years of ......
I still cannot believe Yuna-Kim ranked 1st in the LP....Why?Why?Judges,I demand you,how is Mao's LP not as wonderful as Diana's/??She's not even clean and consistent!!

WatchVancouver/Artistry/UM84, is that you again with yet another ID? As long as you're pretending to be someone else, can you at least drop the "Diana"? Otherwise, what's the point?

Finnish tv the man and lady are so happy and celebrating. I would be too but there was just such poor skating tonight compared to Olympics, takes away from it. I actually would have prefered Miki or Cynthia to climb right onto the podium as they skated well. Good for them though to move up like that.

Well Olympic Gold >>>World Championships Gold, so lol

I don't think anyone's questioning that, nor is Marrymeyunakim dissing Yu-na (as obvious from his/her username... lol). I think his/her point was that this should encourage Yu-na to stay for more seasons (or at least he/she hopes so!).

All jokes aside... I am happy Lepisto makes it on the podium. Great for her and great for Finland!! Kostner 6th but it was more of a personal victory for her. Great job for Phaneuf as well!!

Well, congratulations to Mao!!! Finally her quality triumphs. But Mirai... those little slips add up. I was hoping she would throw another jump in somewhere to make up those points, but I guess she didn't think she could. I'm afraid she'll beat herself up over the loss of that third spot.

So disappointed for Miki too. She did so well tonight and wasn't rewarded for it.

No... Ksenia! Damn, Lepisto doesnt deserve that bronze!

I think no one tonight deserved the bronze.. It was an awful event, splat after splat.. 3rd to 7th are separated by 3 points only, so anyone could have gotten the bronze.. Probably Miki deserved it more but her SP held her down.
