Thanks for your posts in this folder, Icecastles.

Go Beatrisa! I hope she has a dynamite free skate and makes the podium.

Sasha is kicking major booty this season. Is this her year to win it all? I don't know if it's the CoP or what, but the Grand Prix series seems more exciting this year than ever before. I can't wait to see whether Irina with come out fighting.

If it keeps on like this, I think that the crown of Grand Prix champion will be elevated at least to the same stature as national championships and Europeans.

Point-wise, it's interesting how everything drops after the first 3 places.

Less than 2.5 points separates 4th through 8th place, and less than 4.5 points, 4th through 10th. In China, Elena Liashenko was 9 points behind Fumie Suguri in the FS, and look what happened. There could be major shuffling in the FS.

My Beatrisa! Something must have gone wrong. She should be in the top 5. I guess we will never see the skate.

Thanks, Mathman :) I can definitely say it's fun to post the results when they are so unpredictable. I really like reading everyone's comments here and with these results there's plenty to talk about.

I do wonder if this season could be a turning point for the Grand Prix Series because of both the COP and I think the skaters new determination/inspiration to skate well and add difficulty. I used to be sort of blah about it, but I never thought I'd see the day I'd be really on edge about an ice dancing competition. And here it is! I'm still a little on the fence about some aspects of the COP, but it has had a galvinizing effect so far on many skaters' competitiveness and their programs' quality and that's a good thing, IMO.

If she can considerably pull up,
we just might get to see her.

I think we will, because they show US skaters like Janke
and others who bomb many times.

Also, you really only have two big hitters and three
names many a familiar with, so I think we may get to see Bebe.
Hopefully she can rebound and place in the top 5. Also, none of the four above her are known for consistency, so who knows what could happen!

Go Bebe!!!:)

Hopefully Bynex - I'd love to see Bebe on the podium. Btw, they didn't show Scott Smith (USA)'s program on TV. so we just don't know what the producers of the TV show will give the ok to.

I'm so happy for Sasha! I hope she can keep this up for the rest of the season!

Btw, they didn't show Scott Smith (USA)'s program on TV.

Am I the only one who was pissed about that? I mean, I'm a Scott Smith fan, but if someone makes the top three free skates, especially an American, shouldn't they show it on American TV? Just my opinion!

Bebe just missed the podium but, made a great comeback
to finish fourth! She landed 5 triples(doubled a 3T).
Solid performance!

Looks like we'll be seeing her!:D

BTW,
I heard that Bebe got the shaft by the judges in the sp!
