What programs do you immediately think of when you think of a skater? I'm still working on putting my skating tapes to DVD, and I tripped upon one of the many versions of Brian Orser's "Story of my Life" - which I think is unarguably his 'signature' piece or at least his signature song.

let's post some videos from memory lane this off season, shall we?

Oh goodness. I'm tempted to copy and paste the list of MK vids that I post in another thread, but I won't.

But if I had to choose one song as a signature for Michelle Kwan, it would be ...
East of Eden: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vN3DmQwCbc (1998 World Pro)

Anyone care to add more? :)

Definitely Lyra Angelica for Kwan, but also Song of the Black Swan

For Sasha, I often think of that waltz she did as her 2002 Olympic short program, "Sentimental Waltz"--she did such a good job, and the music was so haunting and individual

Of course, Love Story for Sale and Pelletier

Browning: I think some of his pro programs have more impact for me than Casablanca. Here's Singin' in the Rain:

Wylie: Henry V for me.

Pakhomova & Gorshkov their Olympic FD 1976 Flamenco (gorgeous!)

Usova & Zhulin
I just loved them at first sight-this Indian Temple Dance FD in 1988

Duchesnays-I think it has to be Missing I

P&B-Although they skated their Clown program twice at Worlds, and it fits them like a glove, for me their Madness program was much more what they were about, but I most remember their Les Miserables program when I think of them:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbKG9NZpX98

Belbin & Agosto-I think I would go with their Let's Get Loud OD, since they performed it endlessly in exhibitions:

But I prefer Shadritsa

Navka & Kostamarov -Ain't No Sunshine when She's Gone
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTY0rs7OQHA

Torvill & Dean. Although most remember their Bolero, and their best FD was for my money Mack & Mable, I would say their most memorable & my favorite piece was their Paso Doble OD. But Signature? For the many times they have performed some version of it, have to be Bolero.

Denkova & Staviyski, their 2003 Baroque OD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGFbFEDI6DA

Delobel & Schoenfelder, I think their Frida FD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zc38uESNkk

Doris, what treasures! Funnily enough, I was just thinking of Klimova and Ponomarenko's Bach Air program the other day, because I heard the music playing. And when I look up Denkova and Staviski, a favorite couple, I always look for that wonderful baroque OD. Thanks also for including Blumberg and Siebert and Rahkamo and Kokko, and the Duchesnays' "Missing." I look forward to watching every one of these. I love watching "Missing" and then watching Torvill and Dean performing their version.
