Looks like he finally let the doctors go in and get that tumor that's been causing him problems over the last 6-8 years. He tweeted earlier today that he was going into surgery, and apparently all is well as he's tweeted since then!

Prayers for a quick and successful recovery, Scotty!

Indeed, best wishes to Scott. He has amazing courage in the face of all these medical adversities.

Toni, Are you sure the tweets were after surgery was over? Both tweets are listed as being about 10 hours ago?

Best wishes to Scott & his family for a successful & complete recovery from this. He's been through so much medical adversity - enough already with that!

Hamilton's publicist, Michael Sterling, said the 51-year-old skater was "doing very well" after surgery this morning at a Boston hospital and was expected to make a full recovery.

So Scott is through the most risky part.

A role model in so so many ways. Awe inspiring courage. Can't wait to welcome him back, standing center ice, even with his natty shoes, suit and microphone. There won't be a dry eye in the house once the endless standing ovation becomes deservedly deafening. Go Scott!
