I did this kind of thread a long time ago for singles skating and now I'm going to bring it back with Pairs and Ice Dance! I'll resurrect the Mens and Ladies threads eventually as well. But, for now, let's talk about Pairs - your favorite performances and all of the robbing and incorrect scoring you feel has happened over the years.

List all of your podium choices for Worlds/Olympics, going back as far as you'd like. I'm not going to offer too much discussion of my personal choices in this first post, but hopefully everyone who loves pairs can weigh in and we can have a lovely (and heated, no doubt) debate about Pairs performances and competition results.

That's a lot of Kavaguti/Smirnov support! I'm going to go rewatch their performance at the Olympics again. I remember it being more flawed than Savchenko/Szolkowy? I don't inherently prefer their program, though, so that could be it.

I'll just do 2010. I agreed with the actual podium placements at the Olympics, but switch K&S for M&T for bronze at 2010 Worlds.

I just notice I dont have the Zhangs winning a single World medal. That is good, that wasnt on purpose, but they are the most overscored pairs team in figure skating history.

Yeah which is why I gave Pang & Tong less World titles than they have actually won. Wow I am so biased arent I. :rolleye:
