You become an expert on free media players and creating playlists from piecewise downloads , on finding and navigating obscure Tv watching sites, settings on Quicktime and Windows media player, all so that you can watch obscure footage of ice dancers at Russian Nationals, or worse, Junior Grand Prix events.

...you hear a song on the radio and can not only name the skater(s) that skated to it, but can state the year/season(s) they skated it and where. (And just maybe you can do the choreography along to the tune, while in teh car... not that I would EVER do such a thing...)

you go to record on tape or dvd and it asks you which speed you want (SP or LP) and for a minute you're wondering why it's asking you if you want to just record the short or long program.
