Really nice Score for Rogozine (64.52).. could he be a dark horse at Canadian Nationals??

Not good score at all for Alves though.. he has charisma but he's hasnt improved much since I first saw him.

Highest PCS to Jason Brown, who fell once. Highest tech to Max Aaron, highest overall Andrei Rogozine. Andrei and Max are very close. The LP should be interesting.

Great to see Franz Streubel risk the 3Axel. That´s a brand new jump for him! Shame about his LP. But I think after he opened his 3A to a double, the concentration was somewhere else.

Hope that he get his jump consistent in the next weeks and months - he can do so well, when the jumps are there.
Now, he is the only men in Germany - together with Peter Liebers - who can land a 3Axel.

Great result from the first boys .. really impressive for August!

I'm also pleased with Andrei's results. I watched him a couple of weekends ago in Thornhill and was happy to hear he did so well!!

I wonder when Jason Brown is going to try a 3A

When Kori Ade feels it's consistent enough to put in a program. She has a plan related to such things that seems to work well for Jason. Last summer, Jason added a little bit at a time technically to his FS program (started w/ 3T+3T, 2A, 3S, 3Lo, added 3F in June/July and 3Lz in August, then 3Lz+3T for Nationals). I am sure he's working on it, it's just not ready, but when it is we'll see it and it will be spectacular like everything else he does.

If you ever get the chance to see him live, do so. He's got that indefineable something that draws your attention when he's on the ice. I saw him first as a Preliminary boy and then didn't see him until he was Juvenile. That Juvenile season, I was playing music at my club's competition and the announcer who was sitting next to me said "wow, he's going to be something" during the 6 minute warm up (when the announcer and music person have not much to do) and I highly agreed then.
