Patrick not as great as at Nationals but clean. Stepped out of 3A. Missed the combo at the end so tacked 2T to the 2A.

Still hard to beat I believe.

Even with the bobble....Patrick is on a whole 'nother level. Terrific choreography doesn't hurt. Great selection of Phantom. Beautiful speed. A masterpiece of skating.

Patrick Chan

Just a hair short of his performance at Nationals. When things get tough, that darn 3A gets in his way, but a quad toe and quad toe and triple toe combo will likely pave the way to his first World title. I felt he was slightly off time everywhere in the piece with the exception of his spread eagle.

FS: 187.96 (crazy, crazy score)
TS: 280.98 (???!!!)

Chan looked very business like. I don't blame him for being nervous.
He held it quite well, I think.

I'm usually one of his detractors, but he fully deserved to win this one.
(that score was a tad too high though)

Okay, **** this. What the hell. Massively overscored. What's the point in even having a competition? 91 in PCS and over 90 in technical too when he was relatively tentative? Whatever.
