I don't mean to alarm anyone unnecessarily, and if I'm wrong, please let me know. I have been watching Universal Sports today. They are running commercials that say that as of January 1, 2012, if you don't have DirectTV, you may lose Universal Sports because cable providers may be dropping the station. The commercial says to call 1-800-554-3887 (1-800-55-GET-US). The US website also has a small red and black link under the main banner to the web version of the phone number to allow you to notify your cable provider that you want to keep (or add) US to the provider's line-up.
