Oh My God! I thought the earlier Israeli team's SBS spin snafu was awkward, but Popova and Massot takes the cake. First she falls on her behind at the end of their side by side spins, then that awkward fall on the throw sal, and to cap it all off, the music is finished while they're still only halfway done on their pair spin. The crowd's confused applause as they try to finish the pair spin was priceless. And them breaking handhold immediately after the performance, refusing to even look at each other? Super awkward!

To his defense, right before the camera turned to Maylin and Daniel, he tried(I believe) to console her. This probably cost them a trip to Worlds, so no wonder she is crying

Is that what happened? I didn't see it in my feed, so I hesitated to say who did the spurning after the program. But if it's true that Bruno chucked her hand and got mad at her, super not cool.

What is going on? Hausch and Wende falling during that position change in their pair spin. I've really seen it all in this competition.

I was going to note this. In the K&C he put a hand on her back and seemed to be saying something nice to her/trying to help. As you note it almost 100% cost them the trip to Worlds and they both know it; I think both their reactions are understandable if a bit immature/not what we'd ideally like to see.

The last 2 programs were full of mistakes. And yes, Bruno acted quite rude to her but in the Kiss&Cry he tried to console her when she was crying

She was smiling and good natured about it all and kept comforting him. However it was mostly his mistakes that made the program not only a losing one but a dangerous one. It is scary when the man is badly off in Pairs skating.

It was not a bad skate! Ksenia and Fedor must skate well in order to keep the bronze.

Berton and Hotarek's cheering section is the most obnoxious thing I've heard since Michael Weiss retired from competitive skating. Really obnoxious and distracting whistles and cheers that interrupted an otherwise beautiful and serene performance.
