Dai can skate to anything and it's wonderful. Nice to see him back with a new EX. But I also want to see Lacrimosa some more.

. I was surprised he had a new Ex for JOI because he was so busy with his commentating.
I know some of his fans are hoping to see it again in Lambiel's show Legends next week, we will have to wait and see!

I too love 'Lacrimosa', but I am not sure if Daisuke will skate it in Lambiel's show. Skaters will skate special programs from their past there + it seems most skaters are going to skate just one solo number. Stephane himself is going to skate his 'Poeta' flamenco program, Volosozhar/Trankov are going to skate 'Masquerade', Carolina will skate 'Bolero', Mao will skate her Chopin's 'Ballade', Joubert is going to skate a new version of his 'James Bond' SP, Virtue/Moir are expected to skate 'Carmen' (not confirmed yet, though) etc. It has not been revealed yet what Daisuke is going to skate, but it will most likely be one of his competitive programs too. Stephane and Ice Legends announced all the skaters who were going to take part in the show one by one by presenting some hint/"riddle'' (question, story, video etc.) about them. The hint about Daisuke was a video of Stephane skating (or, rather, trying to skate^Yes he can! I love Lacrimosa too

Dai picked up her EX to 'Jupiter' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzLSrDpUIwU, and Mao his 2004-05 SP 'Sabre Dance' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leFAgGvCRxs. Then Dai also mentioned this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OjPddW9dDI, saying "12yo Mao in this program was soooo adorable!"
Mao said Dai's 'Rach2' free in Torino Oly season https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2K2-LxoVgU, admitting she loved that program so much, but with the music his image was too strong so that she would never have thought of picking it up for herslf if she were a male skater. She did so for Sochi season because none of top female skaters ever skated to Rach2.
Personally I'm so glad Mao picked up two programs of his that I love so much, too,, though Dai himself hated Sabre Dance as music because the music is so demanding, hastening and made him feel so sick to almost throw up... Even today, I do believe this prgoram is a masterpiece created by TAT and her inexhaustible artistic ideas, Pratov and and his talent to visualize TAT's ideas with his incredible steps/turns, and, of course, young Dai and his born ability to duplicate Pratov's steps and turns at first glance. :luv17:
And the best part is at 6:00 Mao advising him, "oh, if you like, you can come back to competitions anytime!"
