Since no one posted...I found it interesting that Aussie Nats had Synchros like Germany...(there were NOV, JR, SR division for almost everything. Pairs only had up to Novice, but had primary! to save time, I'm only posting SR)

Senior Synchros
1. Synergy
2. Fire on Ice
3. Sydney Ice Impressions
4. KISST

Senior Dance
1. Natalie Buck and Trent Nelson-Bond
2. Danika Bourne and Aleksandr Pavlov

Senior Men
1. Bradley Santer
2. Daniel Harries
3. Stuart Beckingham
4. Sean Carlow
5. Tristan Thode

Senior Ladies
1. Miriam Manzano
2. Joanne Carter (WELCOME BACK!)
3. Sarah-Yvonne Prytula
4. Tessa Black
5. Lauren Winsborrow
6. Kacie Shelley
7. Krysia Child
8. Kirsten Mather

(Where oh where was Stephanie Zhang?)

Australia also allows you to double-enter within divisions; ie - skate jr/sr... Kacie, Tessa, and Lauren all skated in Jr's. Only Tessa medaled. In fact, Kacie and Lauren placed below their sr placements...

This might be kind of late, but what happened to Anthony Liu? Does he still skate for Austrailia? Did he turn pro? Hmm?

Anthony Liu

Anthony Liu bought the Ice Castle International Training Center from Carol Probst last spring. https://ashton01.securesites.com/ifs/news3.html (scroll down)

He also coaches there. http://www.icecastle.us/coaches/coaches.html (scroll down)

A recent mention of his rink and the fires:
http://www.olympics.com.au/default.asp?pg=owia&spg=newsdisplay&articleid=3071
The Ice Castles facility was under threat during the recent Californian fires and was shut for four weeks.
"We were OK," said Anthony. "Nothing in the immediate vicinity of the rink was touched and everything is back to normal."
"It's great to have Michelle back here and also Angela Nikodinov."

And a recent mention of his own skating hopes...from early November:

Anthony Liu, after taking the 2003 season off, has indicated his knee injury is healing and he hopes to compete at the 2003-2004 Australian Nationals.

He clearly didn't make it to Australian Nationals. Maybe his knee still bothers him. I saw him at the Pacific Coast Sectionals in Vancouver, WA, with one of his students, Ahnah Lee. I enjoyed her skating; she finished 10th in senior ladies.

I wonder what happened to Stephanie Zhang, too. She had to pull out of 4C's and Jr. Worlds last year due to illness, but I would have expected her back this year. Hope it's nothing serious.
