what a sp!!!!!!!!!!

all pairs that have taken risks like S/S (3ATh) or D/R (3 Lutz) are in the top 5!!!

V/T - K/S - B/L ... they need a podium for 3 entrys next year right?

P/T bore me, but hats off to them for delivering after a year off the ice. And to S/S for being true champions and going for the 3A!

ITA....Makes me miss S/Z but I still have S/S.

D/C got lowballed on their score. What a joke.
S/S so overscored. First for that effort? I would put them at least behind T/T.
B/L super overscored. They both stumbled on their SBS, and both fell at the end. What on earth. B needs a standby vampire because she's always about to die.

We are simpatico, FlattFan, ITA.

The F-I-X is in, why bother watching the FS.

This is why I haven't bothered to watch international pairs in ages, not even the Olympics, still haven't watched it, lol.

I'm just going to go back to watching Nationals. :)

such a heart touching program and performance by lori and PT, almost made me cry.
I am not an expert but I'm happy with the PCS by the JJs.

in a way, this is very unpredictable and a lot of spoilers
T/T in top 3 , D/R and B/L in top 6
but those margin of errors from no. 3 down can be shaken in the LP
silver and bronze you never know

Davankova/Deputat aren't eligible for seniors until 2013

Can't wait! I do know that they are still juniors -- and I am impressed and excited about their potential. I called them up-and-coming, knowing they are not seniors yet -- they are still up-and-coming and at this point look to be one of the more exciting pairs on the Russian landscape -- even though Deputat is Ukrainian. For that matter, Tatiana V and Aliona S are also Ukrainian. Still the Russians tend to get all the credit, I suppose when it comes to pairs. ;)

Interesting pairs event. It wasn't the best from S/S, with Robin's turn-out and Aliona's double-footed landing on the throw, however they are strong overall and got the job done. I definitely think Eric and Meg were fairly scored -- they do have difficult elements and they are a powerful team. They were flat-out amazing at Canadian Nats especially in their fp there. Great showing from the U.S. teams too. I didn't see V/T's sp skate -- what happened to cause the low mark?

I really don't like watching B/L that much -- they are often quite boring due to their automoton-like quality (plus although Vera's lines are good, I don't like Yuri's).

The idea that S/S is an ugly pair is just false.

Seriously. But she also called Volosozhar an old lady, so take it with a grain of salt. Anyway, I am incredibly impressed S/S went for that throw triple axel and stood it up. She's had enough crashes on it this yr that could have easily discouraged them, but they really have GUTS. Love that.

Impressive to see Pang/Tong doing well after taking time off.

I am sad that I couldn't see Aljona and Robin. I am surprised about the placement of the Russian pairs.

When is it a requirement to stop posting when you don't like something? If someone slaps you, do you not say anything?
The problem is that Nadine is constantly viciously bashing skaters she doesn't like and she seems to hate the majority so she poisons any thread she posts in. Her comments about skaters looking "old" or being like robots are completely out of line.
