There are too many ladies, typically, for all to perform in one session. So some compete in Ladies A, others in Ladies B, based on a random draw.

The junior ladies qualify for a final based on the A, B, C, & D results.

Or they could have seeded it for more complexity/variety in the flights between A, B, C, and D

They could, but at times the flights are so unbalanced that I bet they seed them by when the applications are received. First to A, second to B & so forth.

I've helped out with a few local events and those times, names were simply drawn for the groups. "Seeding" (group placements based on previous years standing) is typically only done at qualifying events for Intermediates-Seniors.

Go Keegan!

Keegan ended up fifth overall... guess he had a rough go of the LP... which I'm going to take as a good thing as it's a new choreographer so it's going to be a challenge.

While Keegan's free skate was not as strong as his short program performance, he still sold the program, as far as I'm concerned, and is beloved by the fans @ Liberty! We had a chance to speak to his mom after the men's final, and she did say that Keegan wasn't feeling so good yesterday morning. He never gave up on the performance, and ended strongly.

Harrison Choate and Ashley Cain had wonderful debuts as seniors!!!!
