Anna did great, that vamp-baby with long lags should give Miyahara a lesson how to jump in the air and not on the ice actually.. Juniorish presentation though but what the heck..

And maybe Satoko could teach Anna how to jump off the correct edge and not slop herself across the ice.

Juniors are doing very well today. Radionova got a little shaky on 3L but still managed to add 3T in her combo, all the rest was fine, the prog has a lot of character, but I doubt that they put her above Adelina... getting interesting..

Radionova is lower than Adelina with 64 but I think thanks to PCS, her TES is likely higher than Adelya's.

I really like Pogorilaya, too! I'm happy that the young girls are doing well today, finally! The question now is: if Makarova skates clean, will she be in top 3 with easier technical elements? (Except Sotnikova, yes) Liza:  I hope she works on her spins, though: the layback is still performed with a horrible basic position, and the CCoSp should have been a level 3, since she didn't hold the camel variation for two full revolutions after reaching the position.

Makarova fell on 3T-3T, doubled her Loop, the prog is that ice princess's stuff that is bearable and rather beautiful. I wonder who will be more inflated Leonova or Makarova now considering that both meh-ed

Actually, Makarova was judged fairly- 53 and she is 12th. In general the judging n the event was very fair except Leonova's score.

Yeah, I don't understand how she can receive 32 with two major mistakes and one small even in a National competition! :disapp: Sad for Makarova, she's really out of the game for the ISU Championships...

What was the condition of qualification? Agafonova competed in Nizza, Shersak in Slovenian JGP...
There are four ways to qualify:
1. Very good international results before. Past and this season so was qualified Pluschenko to Men's Nationals. It is a way for Worlds champions and Olympics medalists.
2. To take place in GP Events. You know - it means good results at previous season.
3. To be JGP Finalist. I.e. to be one of best six Junors in whole world.
4. To qualify by Russian Cup Events (it is like GP qualification to Final - best sum of results of two Events).

Agafonova was 12th in Russian Cup qualification. Only first 11 take place in Nationals.
Shershak after one JGP event (7th place) did not compete. They say, she has health problems.
Medvedeva this season did not take place in Senior Russian Cup Events, so can not qualify. They say, she had injury at beginning of this season, she qualified only to Junior Nationals in two last Events (very good, she is second on results of Junior Russian Cup Events).

She did not even try to qualify to Senior or Junior Nationals.
Her results are now not so good, she has not a real chance.
