Does anyone know if Patrick intends to compete? Or has he not decided yet?

I personally think he won't because

1) It's in Japan. I remember Patrick mentioned he skipped 4CC in 2011 because he was afraid of jet lag before Worlds.
2) So much pressure facing the two big guns, Yuzuru and Daisuke :p Not sure if he is mentally prepared to face them again.

But it'll be an exciting competition if Patrick decides to attend 4CC! The podium will be Yuzuru-Daisuke-Patrick in some order :p

Skate Canada usually announces the entry teams for 4CC and Worlds & Junior Worlds at the banquet after Canadians. They are called up to the front of the room for applause. Sometimes some of the spots are announced as TBA. I don't think Patrick will get to 'choose' if he wants to go but he might have the option of declining.

I think Skate Canada hopes Patrick doesn't compete, because it allows them to send Balde and Rogozine (results pending) to 4CC. Right now, only three men are eligible for Worlds (Chan, Reynolds, Rogozine) but Rogozine's results have been very poor internationally - Balde's actually outpointed him (Rogozine earned the minimum TES last season).

Kexin Zhang? Sui-Han? I thought they weren't going to compete this season at all...

Yeeees JSF has seen sense and is letting its dance teams gain valuable competition experience. Great news! :)

There were only 11 dance teams at 4CC's last year. This year 14   So pleased to see it.

But no team from Kazakhstan this year...only federation that was at 4cc's last year, and that isn't this year.

We gained 3 Japanese teams (Reeds were injured and didn't compete), and one extra Chinese team,

Interesting to see Sui/Han back so quickly given the injury seemed quite severe. I hope they aren't being pushed too hard.

China again not sending anybody else other than the two Ice Dance teams we know even though they had loads competing at the national level. :/

I wonder what happened with the Kazakh dance team. Injured or split?

I'm really surprised South Korea didn't use their 3 spots. Nobody age-eligible was available?

No So Youn Park for Korea?
Wenjing Sui is not recovered yet, so Sui/Han will not go to 4CC. The substitute Wang/Zhang will go instead.

So Youn Park is not age eligible.

A thank you for what? They've just sent the highest placed finishers from Nats. :p

It's just that I am a fan of both skaters and rooting for them, so that I am so happy to see them at 4CC next month in our country! :)
Feds in N America sometimes do not send their 3 highest placed finishers to 4CCs when scheduled in Asian countries, especially in the Olympic season, due to time difference you know. ;)

...okay, I've just checked TV schedule and found out that none of TVs here plan to broadcast the comp live...:slink:
What's the point JSF pays $$$$$ to host an ISU Championships and never to broadcast it live? :sarcasm:

I live in a country where an ISU Champoinships is soon to be held and can't watch it on TV live. Why am I paying 2,400.00yen (about 20.00euros) to J-Sports every month??? :sarcasm:& Even worse is that I can actually watch the Euros and US Nats LIVE thru J-Sports this weekend...:disapp:

And they didn't. They sent the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. ;)
