Leonova never had a future in the first place. Even at her peak she was nowhere near as good as Sotnikova, Tuktamysheva, Radionova, etc. etc. etc.

Gosviani only beat Leonova by a point at Russian Nationals because Leonova was really overmarked in the SP.

And oh look now Gosviani has not only skated well at Russian Nationals but she's also skated well at two international competitions. So that's three to Leonova's ZERO. :p

Gosviani was ineligible and unqualified for euros when she was named for the euro team. Its the same thing. Leonova was dumped by the fed fir gosviani and shes just never coming back. Look at all the things the fed did for gosviani based on one competition where she beat leonova by a point! Gosviani stunk for a whole season and that is why she was ineligible unqualified for euros because she could not get assignment because she was useless and horrible. One competion and shes sent to euros because leonova did not skate like world silver medalist and now she is useless and dumped and has no future.

So skaters that for whatever reason have not competed internationally, but improve tremendously and beat out other internationally recognized skaters who aren't skating as well should never get the chance to try and obtain the minimum scores to compete at major championships?

Congratulations, you've found yet another way to stall the sport of figure skating.

She didnt have to be announced before she even had the score to go to euros to show that it wasnt a one event fluke - no that would have interfered with their dump leonova agenda. No she wasnt even eligible when they announced her for euros sending the leonova is dumped immediately. Even though she was bombing all season too and then does a grand total one point better than leoniva gosviani gets named before she was even eligible.

Two internationals? What are you talking about? The competition where she singled two jumps? And at euros she messed up very bad in the sp.

So what that Gosviani singled two jumps? I think Leonova has done much worse than singling two jumps per competition. For example having completely empty new free program, not landing nearly any jump at all, falling all over the place...
