Really sad to see that H/D's season is done. Love them.

I'm not sure why USFSA is accepting D/C's petition. Yes, they have higher scoring potential but they will not get a third spot back and I feel like it might make more sense to just let him heal fully and give Alexa and Chris some experience.

Will Worlds be televised in the US?

I think Universal Sports plans on televising it. Ad in Skating mag. indicates it (as well as 4CC's).

I hoped H/D would go to Worlds again but I think maybe last year will be their only trip until after 2014, unless Chock/Bates and the Shibs have major problems next year (not that I'm hoping for anything).

^ ? Would the men's result have any effect on the choice for pairs and dance?

well, yeah, I mean we gotta have all matching colors of hair and costumes in the team pics! ;)

or at the very least it's a spoiler alert for who gets to be in the team photo ;)

If anybody cares, the international committee had several members that were unable to meet immediately after ladies last night, so the ladies team is not being held up with a controversial decision-- it's more about logistics. The team is being decided as I type along with the men.

Good to see Ashley take a break. It's been a long year and she needs some rest after her injury then illness. I do wish Wang had gone to Jr Worlds though. She had a good season on the JGP while Yasmin didn't compete. Plus i think Wang has more potential. With Jeremy not going to 4CC i almost wished Josh had gone. He earned it more than Rippon.

It seems unfair that Alex Johnson, who placed 7th, has no international assignments or even alternate assignments even though Brandon Mroz and Stephen Carriere (9th and 10th respectively) are both alternates for 4CC.

None of the three girls going to Junior Worlds are juniors. Nor are any of the alternates. They all skated senior, except for Leah, who didn't skate at all, right? Is this normal?!

Josh is going to Jr. Worlds, which is why he is not on the 4CC roster. My guess is Jeremy declined the 4CC spot. I'm sure he is doing a lot of soul searching right now; perhaps even determining if he wants to try and continue on this journey anymore.

Why is Adam Rippon getting 4CC? Hasn't he been given enough chances to medal on international stage?!

Well usually the Junior champion goes to Jr Worlds But Polina Edmunds didn't have the minimum score to go. Plus Cesario and Hicks were still Juniors internationally and competed on the JGP this season so they aren't really Senior.

Actually all the girls have skated junior internationally. And with the exception of Yasmin, who didn't skate on the JGP at all, they have all medaled on the JGP. Though honestly I'm surprised that neither their JGP final berths didn't cause USFSA to send Angela or Hannah instead.

Gosh, it's going to be another crowd for those JGP spots next year; hope the U.S. girls gets the maximum spots.
