Me neither
Joubert wasn't surprised, that the relations with Yagudin became not as warm as before.
But he did not seem to disclose whether or not he has been in pain after the surgery.
One of the doctors seemed to have said something about for how long an endoprothesis could last. I didn't make out the number
I dare not post a link, for last time I tried to post a link I got banned T^T
Lyosha recently appeared in a health show on 1tv, Жить здорово! (Live Healthy!). The episode is entitled 'Сколько прослужат ваши суставы? История Алексея Ягудина'
Yagudin: Actually, I had no pain. The pain appeared 3 or 4 years before the surgery. /.../ The doctor said: "suffer as long as you can. When you won't be able to walk, change the joint." /.../ I was 10 or 11 years old, when my leg could stop working, when I was walking along a street, I fell /.../ I know, that it sounds really funny, but it's a real story - I got up and went on walking.
Yagudin: 2 or 3 years I lived with tablets and painkillers. In the last season before the surgery my day looked like this: I woke up, I'm sitting on the sofa, I don't go anywhere, because if I walk 5 or 10 minutes, the pain will start. As I understand it, small pieces of the joint got into the joint. Then - sorry - I went to the toilet, drank coffee, went quietly to the bus, came to the rink and I wait for the beginning of the show without any warm ups. I skate in the show and then limp to the bus, and we go to the next city. A few times during the tour the pain was so intense, that I was howling in the bus, we stopped all the buses and nobody knew what they could do with me. I said: "pull the leg" - I knew how to make it easier - and they pulled my leg.
He is often invited to different shows. Here is this one

on this video:
Lyosha says, that this joint creaks now, but he has no pain in it.
The doctors say they don't advise now waiting till one won't be able to walk, because muscles atrophy and because it is bad for the second leg.
Yagudin said: "I agree. Now I have no right knee either and I have pain in groins". (I think he just means the knee isn't good either; he can say "no leg" or "my leg said goodbye", when the leg doesn't work)
They say, that usually it happens, when one is not 28 years old, but 58, 68 or 78. In the end they asked him to say something for those who need such a surgery now. "I guess I shouldn't give advices to those who are elder?" - he said. "You should." "Should I? So... do it, don't suffer. That's all. Don't be afraid."
