Much as I love the Eurosport commentators, I think they made a mistake last night. They said that the 3 German pairs were all competing for the remaining places at Sochi. However, the last I heard Prölß/Blommaert were going to be in limbo this year because Ruben was too old for Juniors and Annabelle was too young for Seniors.

So, is that still the case, or has there been a rule change regarding ages that I never heard about?

Whether or not they get to compete much this year, they are going to be a couple to watch for the future. ;)

They're mistaken, I noticed they made a lot of mistakes last night (lack of research?). Germany can send two pairs to Olys. End of story. Prölss/Blommaert can only compete in senior B's and GP (no invite though) this season, because she's too young for Championships, and he's too old for JGP.

Happyyy!! Bravo Zoli! I am at the office right now and will not be able to see anything live from Men SP but I will watch later when I get home.
This is so great, Zoltan really deserves to qualify. Do you know the standing right now for those competing for an olympic spot? Sorry if it was already written, I can't read now all the latest posts.

Zoltan is now 4th overall and 2nd (?) among those attempting to qualify for the Olympics, with 1 group still left to go (the last group has just started).
