very high score for Karen :)
and good comeback for Sakhanovich, PCS seems really low though

Karen was great. She has such good presentation and amazing speed. Her lutz and axel are huge, too! The 3Lz-2T looked UR to me, though.

Sakhanovich was good as well. But her 2A is as bad as Julia Lipnitskaya's. She seems to use the same roller-skating jump technique and it barely clears the ice.

Proklova won FS but not enough to beat Chen overall
interesting she got higher PCS than Chen with lower TES than her

Sakhanovich bends too much on her landings, look at her bent knees

Wow at the top four. Amazing scores for all four girls! Sahanovich was unfortunate to have skated here - her scores would've had her second in Mexico and third in Riga. Hopefully she can win her next event and maybe make the final! I'm looking forward to seeing the videos.

I think Proklova was rather unlucky to have drawn second in the SP, too.

And Proklova beats Chen in the FS by a nose

I really want to see their skates (and Sakhanovich's too)

This would be a great JGP if not for HJ bombing the FS

(It's almost like a sort of pattern-does well in SP, but bombs FS in her first JGP-it's happened the past 3 seasons )

very exciting JGP , all ladies are capable of huge scores barring disasters

these 5 should be in the JGPF

Chen
Medvedeva
Proklova
Sotskova
Edmunds

that leaves 1 spot left open
either maybe Miller, Wang and Sakhanovich ? if she wins her next JGP event
Sakhanovich needs to improve her PCS next time

Miller had an injury this year - she had foot surgery. I hope she can make her events, but I'm not 100% she will. Her name was removed from the Belarus event. She is only assigned to the last event in Estonia right now.

I'd add Kato to the list of possible JGP contenders. She's listed for CZE, which also has Sotskova & Proklova. I'd expect those two to go 1-2 but if one or both bomb? All bets are off. The American ladies are Baga & Glenn, so they aren't as strong.

forgot about Kato she has the same chance as Wang and Ogoreltseva by sheer luck in her next JGP assignment if it is a weak field
Sakhanovich is in the last JGP event but not much competition on the list maybe Kato next assignment should be moved in Talinn

This was a really strong field. The top 4 did an amazing job and got super high scores!

So shocked at Heajin's low score. Whatever the issue is that is causing her to underperform since last Junior Worlds, she won't be competitive until she clears it out.

I don't think Heajin is going to be a strong contender in the future. Her SS and presentation are very nice, but her body type is going to be the factor that holds her jumps, considering she is pretty "curvy" at 16.

Proklova is a treat!
Lipniskaya, Rodionova and now Proklova, can it be any better for next four years
