could not see Akiko's lp :scowl: constantly freezing feed
Watching Julia L ... talk about boring. Okay she has great extension and flexibility, but she's not expressing the music well. Too immature.
Nice acrobatics, but I barely even get that she's skating to Schindler's List, which has been so beautifully skated to before by master skaters like Paul Wylie and Savchenko/ Szolkowy. Nice touch tho' with the red and gray costume.

and I want her to (weirdly) because I just find her boring, disconnected from the music, and nothing special other than the consistency.

Definitely. Some beautiful, but lesser-known cuts. I also wish her qualities were rewarded more in the second mark.

Well, Julia just threw it DOWN technically. Think her lutz was on the right edge again too! Spins much better centered than yesterday and jumps rock solid. She can still improve her PCS but I hope the Russian federation is watching. She wants that Oly spot bad and she deserves it.

I LOVE Julia's skating now that she took out all the gratuitous hyper-flexibility moves.
